IMPORTANT UPDATE 4.15.24- INSA is currently working with the Professional Licensing Agency to update incorrect verbiage stated online in the Administrative Code 844 IAC 13-5-4. Patients do NOT need a referral from a doctor in order to see an acupuncturist. A temporary non policy rule document has been approved updating this verbiage in the meantime.

Also, please remember that to hold a valid acupuncture license in the state of Indiana, you must have a current NCCAOM license. This is necessary to obtain a new license as well as to renew a license.
